Licensing

After successful installation of the server and client (on client devices), launch the Navigator on any of the devices.
If you receive a firewall warning, allow the Navigator access. This is necessary for update purposes (See System settings).
You will not be prompted again once you allow the Navigator access to the internet.
The licensing form will be displayed
1.     Email trial@itechsupport.co.za and provide your client request code (Provide the following code to the software vendor field).
You will be given a licence key based on the package you purchase.
Ensure you have the following details on hand for licence key requests.
Please record this code for future licence renewal requests.
2.     Enter the licence key and ensure you have selected the correct date of expiry. Select License once you have completed these steps.
3.     If you elected to have the licence token emailed to you, save the licence token file into the FBM server share and select the Check for licensing token file and process option.
If the token was placed into the FBM server share before you launched the Navigator, it will be processed automatically and you will be taken to the Logging on for the first time step.

Licences may be renewed automatically when a system update is performed.
If your licence has been provided via the update cloud, EXIT the licensing screen and restart the Navigator.
You will be notified if the licence was successfully retrieved and processed.
Licences and updates are not processed by Browser based clients.
CAUTION: Three incorrect licence key entries will lock the system from any further access including relicensing. Email your details as above to support@itechsupport.co.za for assistance in unlocking the system.

Users must be given explicit permission to Manage licences.
The ‘Manage licence renewals’ permission is specified under the Administration module group in Managing users/licences.

Licence renewal.
The licence expiry date is displayed in the main Navigator form.
As your licence nears expiry, you will be notified each Monday beginning three weeks before the date of expiry and then every day in the last week of expiry.
To ensure you are not locked out of the system, you may renew your licence at any time.

If the reseller has emailed a licence renewal token file (instructions are included in the email), you may force the processing of the licence renewals contained in the token file by selecting the Check for licensing token file and process option.

Licences may be renewed automatically when a system update is performed.
If your licence has been provided via the update cloud, the licence will be processed upon the next system update. See Check for updates and System settings for automatic updates.
Licences and updates are not processed by browser based clients.

If your licence expires on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will be given grace until 10:00am on the Monday to renew your licence.

Where you renew your licence but for less users than are currently licenced, the most recent users are either downgraded to a normal LAN licence in the event of there not being sufficient LAN/Mobile/Browser licences and in the event of there not being enough LAN licences, their licencing is removed entirely.
