Purchase item availability report

Select the Availability report option.
Order shortfall in selected cell. Select any cell that has a negative and select this option. The quantity will be transferred back to the purchase order form for ordering.
 
Order actual short balance. If there is a shortfall in the Balance* column, that quantity will be transferred back to the purchase order form for ordering.
 
Order projected short balance. The shortfall in the Balance projected column (column adjacent to the Balance* column).
This column takes all transactions into account.
The quantity will be transferred back to the purchase order form for ordering.
 
The grid summarises the following (some detail out of picture)
“Opening balance/historics” as at the Date required in the purchase order form.
This is split between On order and Current usable stock. Be aware of quantities On order that may never be received.
Current usable stock excludes stock marked as damaged/unusable.
 
Balance*. This column is calculated as follows:-
Current stock - minimum holding stock - unissued confirmed bookings - unissued authorised maintenance/projects. The On order quantity is not taken into account. This column indicates your current physical stock projection.
 
Balance projected. This column takes the On order stock into account as well as all Provisional (unconfirmed) bookings, Provisional maintenance and Provisional projects as indicated in the respective columns.
Signed off Maintenance/project schedules where stock was not issued in full are ignored (they are assumed to be complete).
 
Any purchase items added or updated on the current purchase order are not taken into account until the purchase order is added or updated.
